Offer Acceptance / Terms of Service

I, as a customer, agree and accept to be bound by all of Plum Appliance Repair’s terms and conditions when using their website to book an appointment and request by email and phone to request an appliance repair service.
I have read and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Service subject:

1.1 Plum Appliance Repair offers professional appliance repair services, including but not limited to refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, stoves, ovens, and other electrical appliances, HVAC services, and Plumbing services.
1.2 The company provides qualified specialists with experience in the repair of various brands and models of household appliances.

Appointment registration:

2.1 I can use the services of the company by making an appointment through their website or by calling the phone/texting the phone number listed on the website.
2.2 When making an appointment, I will provide information about the malfunction of my household appliances, and the brand and model of the device.
2.3 I understand that appointment times may be limited by the workload and availability of Plum Appliance Repair.
2.4 I will receive an appointment confirmation by e-mail or by message to the contact email address or phone number I have provided.

Client obligations:

3.1 I undertake to provide accurate and complete information about the malfunction of my household appliances so that the Plum Appliance Repair specialist can carry out an effective diagnosis and repair.
3.2 I will provide access to the necessary equipment and the place where the faulty equipment is located.
3.3 I will prepare the device for repair, including unplugging it from the power supply and removing obstructions preventing access to the device.
3.4 I will be at the location of the appliance on time and wait for the technician. I will notify the company of a possible delay or cancellation of the appointment.

Payment for services:

4.1 The cost of repair will be calculated depending on the nature of the malfunction and the amount of work carried out by the company’s specialists.
4.2 I will be provided with an estimate of the cost of the repair before work begins. In case of replacement of spare parts, their cost will be added to the total amount.
4.3 During the diagnosis, the Technician must determine the cause of the failure and tell me the total amount of the repair, including all necessary fees.
4.4 Payment for services must be made immediately before (like advance) and after the completion of the repair.
Plum Appliance Repair accepts cash, bank cards, and other convenient payment methods if acceptable for Plum Appliance Repair.
4.5 If I have any assumptions about the breakdown, I can tell the Technician about it during communication with him, based on my words, calculate the total amount of the repair, or the technician have the right to double-check the cause of the breakdown.
4.6 If I agree to the repair and total cost, I am obliged to make an advance payment, and at the end of the repair, pay the rest of the payment.
4.7 I am required to make the final payment upon receipt of the invoice at the end of the repair.
4.8 If the final invoice remains unpaid after 24 hours of receipt, I agree to pay a penalty equal to double the invoice amount.
In the event that the invoice amount remains unpaid for more than 3 days, I additionally undertake to pay an additional $45 for each day of delay. However, the total cumulative amount of the fine must not exceed $1,500.
4.9 My consent to the repair means that I agree to the total amount of the repair and this option cannot be changed.
4.10 I understand and accept that, depending on the circumstances, the prices and delivery dates of spare parts may vary.
4.11 If I do not agree to the repair, then I am obliged to pay the amount for Diagnostics (service call)
4.12 If the diagnostic service fee remains unpaid after 24 hours from the scheduled appointment time, the client agrees to pay a penalty equivalent to twice the amount of the diagnostic service fee. In the event that the service fee remains unpaid for more than 3 days, the client further agrees to pay an additional $5 for each day of delay. However, the total cumulative penalty amount shall not exceed $250.
4.13 I understand and accept these terms and conditions and am responsible for the full payment of services.

Denial of responsibility:

5.1 I understand that Plum Appliance Repair makes every effort to repair my appliances to a high standard. However, the company is not responsible for possible damage or loss of data resulting from the repair.
5.2 I also understand that the company is not responsible for malfunctions caused by improper operation or intervention by third parties after repair.

Confidentiality:

6.1 I consent to the confidentiality of my personal data and information about my devices provided to Plum Appliance Repair.
6.2 I authorize the company to use my contact details for the purpose of contacting me and informing me about promotions and special offers. I can opt out of such communications by writing to support@plumappliancerepair.com.

Offer changes:

7.1 I understand that Plum Appliance Repair reserves the right to make changes to this offer. Changes take effect from the moment they are posted on the company’s website.

7.2 I confirm that I have read and agree to the above terms and conditions of Plum Appliance Repair and accept them.
